Een USB powerbank levert maar 5V dat is te weinig voor een HM. Je heb een 12V powerbank nodig.
Ga er even vanuit dat een HM gemiddeld minder van 200mA gebruikt, de grootste gebruiker is de blower. Een 10000mAh accu zou het dus langer dan 10000/200=50 uur moeten volhouden.

Ondanks dat ik heel lang op gewacht heb, was ik 3 dagen te laat om me in te schrijven.. Was op vakantie:-( zijn er nog mogelijkheden?
Er zit een ontwerpfout in het V6 combi printje waardoor er teveel ruis ontstaat op het pit probe signaal, ik ben afgelopen weekend bezig geweest on hier een oplossing voor te vinden en die heb ik gelukkig gevonden. Hieronder mijn post op TVWBB.com (home of the heatermeter)
Because I wasn't happy about the noise on the TC signal I decided to take some measurements to find out what the source of the noise was and to see if an easy fix was possible.
All measurements were taken at 20% output at "voltage" setting with a 6.5CFM blower attached.

The frequency of the signal is the same as the switching frequency of the PWM motor driver.

I suspected that the position of the 220uH inductor was to close to the TC ampifier, to prove my point I moved the inductor all the way to the other side of the board just to see if this would reduce the amount of interference.

Moving the inductor has a huge impact on the signal quality, no more yellow squiggly lines on the web interface!
There is still some noise left on the 3.3V line that I would like to get rid of but this will require a resigned of the PCB.
So after the infamous "white wire" mod I'm proud to present the equally infamous "black wire" mod!
Ik was niet erg tevreden over de het ruis niveau van het V6.0 printje, daarom heb ik een verbeterd ontwerp gemaakt waarbij ik een aantal maatregelen heb getroffen om de ruis te verminderen. Alle "high power" onderdelen van het output circuit zijn dicht bij elkaar geplaatst en ook zo dicht mogelijk bij de fan connector. Ook is het output circuit nu apart geaard. Theoretisch zou dit de meeste hoog frequent ruis moeten tegengaan.
De eerste testen zijn positief, maar later deze week ga ik de print uitgebreid testen om te kijken hoeveel ruis er nog over is en of dit nog problemen gaat opleveren.
De grootste verbetering is echter dat "Boxy de BBQ robot" weer terug is.
